You did not come here by chance, out of curiosity your are driven to read. This will not disappoint you, but it will stir a bit...
How do people suffer from global discrimination?
Others suffer pain and lived it since childhood. It has marred their mental conditioning when they reach adulthood. It has paved way to accomplishment of important goals, merging people into groups with common thoughts of alleviating the issue.
In reality, discrimination is haunting within, while it exists in reality, physicalized by the struggle because of the opportunites not granted to the branded beings, it extends for generations.
If I am not mistaken, even belonging to an elite clan will not completely banish the word discrimination... It could be felt in subtle situations, even in the most idiotic or intellectual form. I have a feeling you understand what it means. Discrimination is perceived by the mind based on one's understanding and acceptance, sadly, the perception is real..
If there is no power to lift it because of the factors sending you to the pit, where basic needs come first before the thought of advancement comes as priority, then be grateful for those who fight for the cause...
But have you forgotten the power of the mind? One of my favorite quotes from Napoleon Hill says: "Your thoughts are the only thing over which you can exert full control." Even if you are inclined to some fixed belief or dogma, it is clear you live your life with a body and a sane mind. Use it and lift discrmination in your own little way.
The power of your mind can transcend you.
Og Mandino said: "...by the right choice and true application of thoughts, man ascends to divine perfection..."
It takes more than education and life to beat discrimination in the world, but if everyone will personally transcend the mind...
This is damn impractical, but at least it can stir a bit.
